Membership Terms
These terms apply to the tgpc Heating Membership (“the membership”), operated by The Good Plumbing Company (TGPC), [trading address placeholder — e.g. a registered business address in South Yorkshire].
1. The plan
The membership costs £21.95 per month, by Direct Debit. It includes:
- Annual Boiler Health Service
- Priority booking ahead of non-members
- No call-out charge for covered repairs
- Diagnosis included
- Up to 1 working day (8 hours) labour per membership year
2. Parts and exclusions
Parts required to complete a repair remain chargeable and are not included in the monthly membership fee. Faults that existed, or that a reasonable inspection would have identified, before the membership start date (“pre-existing faults”) are excluded from cover.
3. Initial inspection and acceptance
Membership is subject to an initial inspection of the heating system and acceptance by TGPC. We may decline or withdraw membership, or apply specific exclusions, where an inspection identifies pre-existing issues, unsafe installations, or non-standard equipment.
4. Fair use
The labour allowance included in the membership (up to one working day / 8 hours per membership year) is intended to cover reasonable diagnosis and repair work on the covered heating system at the membership property. It is not transferable between properties and does not carry over between membership years.
5. Priority booking & call-outs
Members receive priority booking ahead of non-members and no call-out charge for repairs covered under the plan, subject to normal working hours and reasonable availability.
6. Payment
Membership fees are collected monthly by Direct Debit via GoCardless. [Placeholder: add specifics on failed payments, missed payment handling, and price review notice period once confirmed.]
7. Cancellation
